Stēl House + Home is a top interior design and home furnishings store in Steamboat Springs, Colorado specializing in custom interior design & furnishing selections for high end resort community clients. Stēl has a long history creating unique ‘rusticly modern’ interiors in partnership with their sister firm, Vertical Arts Architecture. Our web graphic design development focused toward a presentation of high-quality services for their high-end clients within a clean presentation as a stark contrast to their competitors.

Stēl House + Home sought to update the look of their website to a clean & modern appearance within the framework of a new WordPress build.

Our navigation menu UI design is inspired by the gold macron in the Stēl wordmark – with each selection highlighting with a gold macron. The page designs present ample white space to showcase Stēl’s home décor and curated looks.

Website UI features Stēl’s Showroom, Interior Design Services, and Curated Looks while also promoting current Blog & News Stories, Interior Designer Contacts, Store Location and the Stēl  Company Story. Stēl’s new website design includes their new Shop web store to purchase furnishings online.

Strange Bird Designs created the WordPress web design (User Interface) for Stēl House + Home with UX contracted separately to Hive180 as their local Steamboat Springs, Colorado web firm. Website graphic design was accomplished through a series of discussions from our initial in-person meeting January 2020 through several phone calls and GoToMeeting shares to review presentations from initial concepts to final layouts.
