As presenting sponsor of the 2017 BMA Colorado Gold Key Awards, Gates Corporation desired a fun event theme with an integrated event marketing campaign to drive increased excitement, entries, and attendance. Our initial brain storming session with the Gates marketing team late October 2016 included a slight detour celebrating the recent Bruno Mars “24K Magic” performance on Saturday Night Live.
Over the next few weeks while working through varied event themes, we kept returning to “Twenty Four Karat Marketing” influenced by the Bruno Mars 24K Magic performance – it was fun, young, energetic, entertaining, and most importantly GOLD. It was the perfect theme for the 2017 BMA Colorado Gold Key Awards.
