Gates developed a new product line, PRO Series, as a more economical hydraulic hose system to compete with lower cost off-brand products targeting the fluid power industry. Our specific charge was to clearly brand the new PRO Series as a high-quality Gates Corporation product line without creating any detriment to their industry-leading high-performance MegaSys legacy product line. Our professional logo design and custom brochure design solutions incorporate both PRO Series and MegaSys tradenames within a single performance-tachometer product line logo – creatively allowing both product lines to simultaneously benefit from the long established brand promise of Gates Corporation.

Gates announced their PRO Series product line through our custom brochure design incorporating an early adaptation of their new brand identity system to be formally introduced in 2018. While our custom brochure graphics design showcases the new PRO Series offerings, the overall product identity system defines the relationship of the two product lines for the fluid power industry.

Gates’ MegaSys is well-established as the fluid power industry’s ‘gold standard’ – suitable for ANY hydraulic system application as the most trusted high-performance product line. As a complimentary product line, PRO Series delivers a more economical option within standard duty performance applications.

The unique professional brochure design invites the viewer by incorporating a proclamation announcement fold to reveal the tag line messaging from the internal green panel graphic design layout:

The PRO Series brochure features a ‘growing performance tachometer’ logo design to clearly identify the complimentary capabilities of PRO Series and MegaSys products from Gates as the industry-leading component manufacturer – universally readable worldwide.  Colors are specified as green “Go” for PRO Series and blue “Champion Ribbon” for MegaSys – while specifically avoiding any presentation of a performance red line.

The brochure graphic design includes 3-D line illustration of a skid loader with green and blue color coded placements of PRO Series and MegaSys hydraulic components – highlighting specific performance areas where both PRO series and MegaSys components may be used simultaneously.

We also created a 3-D line illustration depicting PRO Series and MegaSys components within a track hoe application for the Gates sales team within PowerPoint presentations.

Gates is the world leader in Fluid Power technology.

Our Acquisition Brochure project was the first presentation project to incorporate the new Gates Corporation brand standards February 2018.
